• Generated test reports for all the tests implemented for portal using surefire report available in maven which is here https://github.com/Anjali05/MyWork_Gsoc/tree/master/SystersPortal/Test_Reports .
• Created a test demo video for one of the test packages of portal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB9mCO-kYl4 . Please watch it and suggest improvements needed so that I can incorporate it in the final demo.

What have you accomplished this week (list specific items accomplished)?

• Had a code review with my mentor.
• Added more tests to Portal.
• Added generic tests to meetup according to the UI created for meetup location page. These tests will however be changed and implemented when the features of meetup location page is completely working.
• Updated documentation.
• Submitted mid-term evaluation.

What issues or roadblocks have you encountered this week?

• Had some problem in catching the page elements on the portal community page. The active element was in another frame on the page and it needed to switch frame but selenium IDE was not catching it.

• Yes, the problem has been resolved with the help of online resources.

What have you accomplished this week (list specific items accomplished)?

• Edited the generic test list for meetup location page and meetup based on the final mockups collected from dev team.
• Defined generic classes for meetup location page based on the mockup. This will be changed and implemented when the UI is ready. This has been added to my local work repo https://github.com/Anjali05/MyWork_Gsoc/tree/master/PortalMeetup .
• Generated report for poral tests using surefire-report in maven and added to the repo https://github.com/Anjali05/MyWork_Gsoc/blob/master/Practice/Portal/TestsReport/PortalTestsReport.png .
• Refactored DBTests and extended it to include CRUD(create, read, update, delete) tests for a DB. which is here https://github.com/Anjali05/MyWork_Gsoc/tree/master/Practice/DBTestingCRUDDemo .
• Updated documentation.

• I am behind my schedule but will catch up as soon as the first UI for meetup is ready.

• Worked on parameterised test cases.
• Executed a test with maven.
• Worked on report generation using surefire-report plugin in maven.
• Worked on refactoring the codes written.
• Updated the documentation.
• Worked on Database testing to get an idea of the approach.

What issues or roadblocks have you encountered this week?

• Was getting error using surefire-report in maven. The tests were not running.

Have they been resolved, and if so, how?

• Yes the issue has been resolved with the help of online resources.

Do any of the issues or roadblocks still exist and what steps have been taken to resolve them?

What do you plan to accomplish next week?

• Work on meetup tests if the first UI is ready.
• Write more tests and add to the framework(portal) on which I am working on.
• Work on refactoring the code base.
• Work on codes of DB testing to make it more efficient.
• Work with maven and find out more about its plugins and implement them to make the project more efficient.

How does your progress compare to your project schedule?

• I am behind my schedule but will catch up as soon as the first UI for meetup is ready.
